    This AMPLUS flex restores the proximity and ambient light sensors. It fits iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd and 4th generation. That covers the 2021 M1 and 2022 M2 models. AMPLUS means Aftermarket Plus, a higher-grade aftermarket part. The proximity sensor sleeps the screen on calls and covers. The ambient light sensor drives auto-brightness and supports True Tone. This is not a Face ID part. The TrueDepth Face ID camera is a separate paired unit. Fitting this flex does not disable Face ID. It carries a 12-month warranty against defects.

    Does this flex restore Face ID?+
    No. This is not a Face ID part. It restores proximity sensing, auto-brightness and True Tone. The Face ID camera is a separate paired unit. This flex alone will not repair a broken Face ID.
    Will fitting it disable Face ID?+
    No. The proximity and ambient light sensors are not paired to the board. Replacing this flex does not disable Face ID. Face ID keeps working through its own separate camera.
    What does this flex actually do?+
    It carries two sensors. The proximity sensor sleeps the screen near a face or cover. The ambient light sensor drives auto-brightness and True Tone. Together they restore normal display behaviour.
    Which iPad models does it fit?+
    It fits iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd gen (A2377, A2459, A2301, A2460) and 4th gen (A2759, A2761, A2435, A2762). It does not fit 1st or 2nd gen, the 12.9-inch, iPad Air or iPad mini. Check Settings, General, About first.
    What is AMPLUS grade?+
    AMPLUS stands for Aftermarket Plus. It is a higher-tier aftermarket part. It sits above generic clones but below genuine Apple. We never sell it as a genuine part.
    My True Tone is greyed out — will this help?+
    Often yes. A damaged ambient light sensor can grey out True Tone. A healthy flex restores the sensor data. True Tone and auto-brightness should then return after a correct install.
    Is this hard to install?+
    Yes, it is an advanced repair. The display must come off with heat and picks. The sensor flex is fragile and easy to tear. We recommend a qualified technician for the job.
    What does the warranty cover?+
    The 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover physical damage, water damage or install errors. Keep proof of a professional fitting for any claim.
    Will a 1st or 2nd gen part fit?+
    No. The 2018 and 2020 models use a different infrared sensor flex. That part also needs soldering. This 3rd and 4th gen flex is not interchangeable with them.
    How fast is dispatch?+
