How To Fit & Care For This Case
No tools needed. The iPad slides into the foam shell in seconds.
- Line up the camera and buttons with the cut-outs.
- Ease one corner of the iPad into the foam first.
- Press the remaining corners gently until the iPad sits flush.
- Check the screen, port and buttons are all clear.
- Stand the case upright on any flat surface.
- Wipe the foam clean with a slightly damp cloth.
- Do not soak the case or use harsh chemicals.

Will this case fit all iPad mini models?+
It fits the iPad mini 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. All five generations share the same 7.9-inch screen and a near-identical body shape, so one case covers them all. It does NOT fit the iPad mini 6 (2021) or iPad mini 7 (2024), because those are larger 8.3-inch tablets with a different outline. Always confirm your model before ordering.
How do I check which iPad mini I have?+
Open Settings, tap General, then About, and read the model name. You can also turn the iPad over and read the small "A" number near the bottom. A1432, A1454 or A1455 is mini 1. A1489, A1490 or A1491 is mini 2. A1599 or A1600 is mini 3. A1538 or A1550 is mini 4. A2133, A2124, A2125 or A2126 is mini 5. All of these fit this case.
Will it fit the iPad mini 6 or mini 7?+
No. The iPad mini 6 (A2567 / A2568 / A2569) and the iPad mini 7 with A17 Pro are 8.3-inch tablets. They are taller and wider than the 7.9-inch mini 1 to 5, with the camera and buttons in different spots. This case will not fit them. If you have a mini 6, search our store for an iPad mini 6 case instead.
Is the EVA foam safe for young children?+
Yes. The case is made from BPA-free, non-toxic EVA foam designed for children. The foam is soft, lightweight and has no sharp edges. It is the same type of foam used in many kids' play mats and toys. As with any accessory, adult supervision is still recommended for very young toddlers.
Does it stand up on its own?+
Yes. The case has two soft foam arms on the sides. They work as easy grab handles for little hands. The shaped foam base lets the case stand up on its own. That gives a hands-free angle for videos and learning apps. Your child does not need to hold the tablet the whole time.
How well does it protect against drops?+
The thick EVA foam body absorbs the shock from everyday drops, knocks and bumps. Raised edges around the screen keep the glass off the floor in a face-down fall, and a raised rear lip protects the camera. No case makes any iPad fully drop-proof, so we recommend adding a screen protector for the best all-round protection.
Can my child still charge and use the buttons?+
Yes. The case has open cut-outs for the charging port, the headphone jack, the camera and all the buttons. Your child can charge the iPad, plug in headphones and press the volume and power keys without taking the case off. The screen stays fully usable through the open front.
My older mini has a side switch — is there a cut-out?+
The iPad mini 1, 2 and 3 have a small side mute or rotation-lock switch. The case leaves an open cut-out along that edge, so the switch stays reachable. Apple removed the side switch on the mini 4 and 5, so on those models the cut-out simply stays unused. Either way, the case fits and works on all five generations.
What colours are available?+
The case comes in 8 bright, kid-friendly colours. Choose your colour from the options at checkout. Colours are subject to availability, so the live list at checkout is always the most accurate. Does this case come with a warranty?+
