When this part may be suitable
A full display assembly may be required when the existing iPad has cracked glass together with damaged picture quality, coloured lines, black patches, flickering, backlight failure, no image or unreliable touch response. Diagnose the device before ordering because board, connector, battery or liquid damage can produce similar symptoms.
Installation advice
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The original front camera and Face ID-related components are separate from this replacement and must be protected during removal and refitting. Disconnect the battery before connecting display parts, avoid bending or tearing the flex cables, and test the LCD, touch response and refresh behaviour before applying final adhesive or sealing the tablet.

Covered by a 12-month product warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to assessment and correct installation. Physical damage, liquid exposure, torn flex cables, damaged connectors and installation damage are not manufacturing defects. This warranty does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
