My Apple Watch screen is lifting off — is that the battery?+
Yes. A screen that separates from the case is a classic swollen battery sign. Lithium cells expand as they degrade. This puts pressure on the screen from inside. Act quickly — a swollen battery can damage the display permanently if left too long. Do not apply pressure to the screen. Bring the watch in for professional assessment.
Will this fix my Apple Watch not charging or not turning on?+
A new battery usually fixes a watch that won't charge after 2+ years of use. First, check your charger on another device. No response despite a working charger usually means the cell is dead.
