    Will this cable work with my iPhone 15, 16 or 17?+

    No. Those iPhones use a USB-C port, not Lightning. They need a USB-C to USB-C cable instead.

    This cable suits iPhone 14 and every older Lightning iPhone. That covers 13, 12, 11, XS, XR, X, 8, 7 and SE.

    Does this cable fast charge my iPhone?+

    Yes, when paired with a 20W or higher USB-C PD charger. The cable carries Apple's full fast-charge spec up to 60W.

    Expect roughly 50% charge in about 30 minutes on iPhone 12, 13 or 14. The wall charger sets the final speed.

    What does MFi certified actually mean?+

    MFi means "Made for iPhone". It is Apple's official accessory licensing program. Certified cables carry a genuine Apple authentication chip.

    Fake chips get disabled by iOS updates. You then see "Accessory Not Supported" errors. Genuine MFi cables keep working through every update.

    Can I plug this into a USB-A wall charger?+

    No. The charger end is USB-C only. It will not fit a rectangular USB-A socket.

    Anker makes a USB-A to Lightning version for older chargers. Or upgrade to a 20W USB-C PD wall charger for fast charging.

    Is 6ft / 1.8m the right length for me?+

    Yes. The USB-C end fits any MacBook, USB-C laptop, dock or power bank. Your iPhone charges and syncs through it.

    Data moves at 480Mbps over USB 2.0. That is the standard speed for all Lightning devices.

    Does it support wired CarPlay?+

    Yes, if your car has a USB-C port. Most 2022-and-newer vehicles do. CarPlay starts automatically once plugged in.

    Cars with only USB-A ports need Anker's USB-A to Lightning version instead.

    Can it charge AirPods or a Magic Mouse?+

    Yes. Any Apple device with a Lightning port works. That includes AirPods 1, 2 and 3, plus AirPods Pro 1.

    The Lightning Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 charge too. AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) and AirPods 4 need a USB-C cable.

    Is there any difference between Black and White?+

    Only the colour. Both share the same MFi chip, braid, specs and warranty.

    What does the 2-year warranty cover?+

    Anker covers manufacturing defects for 24 months. That includes split jackets, internal wire failure and chip dropout.
