How to Tell What's Wrong With Your Xbox One

No Display? Port or Retimer Chip
Try a different HDMI cable and a different TV port first. Look inside the Xbox HDMI socket with a torch.

Original Xbox One Won't Power On
Check the power brick light first. Solid white means brick is fine. Orange or off means brick fault.
Brick orange or dead: free brick test, replacement quoted on the spot.

Hold the power button ten seconds for hard reset. Watch for any front-LED activity.
