Confirm It Is The Mainboard Flex Before Swapping
Some "no power" issues are battery, port or mainboard. Run this check first.
- Try a known-good Samsung 25W charger and original cable.
- Try a different USB-C cable to rule out cable failure.
- Swap a known-good charging port board first to isolate the flex.
- Inspect the flex visually for kinks, tears or torn pads.
- Check the ZIF connector seats for solder lift or burn marks.
- Use a multimeter to test continuity end-to-end on key lines.
- If port swap fails but flex pads are torn, this part is the fix.

Install Notes — Read Before Starting

- Power off the Galaxy A35 or A55 fully before any disassembly.
- Apply gentle heat to soften the back-cover adhesive seal.
- Pry the back cover off slowly with plastic picks only.
- Disconnect the battery flex first before any other connector.
- Unscrew the inner mid-frame shield to reach the mainboard area.
- Lift each ZIF flex with a plastic spudger only.
- Avoid bending or kinking the new flex during fitment at all.
- Seat each ZIF connector flat and lock the latch fully closed.
- Replace IP-rated back-cover adhesive after fitting the new flex.
- Test charge, data and mic before fully resealing the case.
