PULL-A Grade Honesty Disclosure
PULL-A means pulled from a working donor Xbox Series X. Honestly labelled. Not new-OEM stock.
Where the port comes from
Donor consoles come from insurance write-off claims, trade-ins and refurb stock. The boards are stripped clean.
What Grade A means
No bent pins. No broken legs. No oxidation on the contact pads. Pin pitch holds true.
Why Microsoft does not sell this
Microsoft does not sell HDMI ports as service parts. PULL-A donor stock is the only genuine route.
No manufacturer warranty
No Microsoft warranty on a donor port. JPC covers 7-day dead-on-arrival. Bench-test on arrival.
Genuine vs aftermarket clone
PULL-A keeps real Microsoft pin pitch and contact gold plating. Aftermarket clones often drift the pitch.
Honest grade label
We never sell PULL-A as new-OEM. PULL-A is donor stock from a working console. Honest label every time.
Master-Level Micro-Soldering Repair (Not Plug-and-Play)
A HDMI port reflow is the highest-skill console repair. Master-level work only.
Use Torx drivers to remove the back vent and outer shell. Slow and careful.
Ground yourself with an ESD wrist strap. Discharge any static off the board.
Set the hot air station to safe reflow temperature. Slowly lift the broken port.
Wick away old solder. Clean every pad with flux. Confirm no lifted pads.
Tin each pad with fresh solder. Align the new PULL-A port over the footprint.
Reflow the joints with hot air. Inspect every pin under a microscope.
Refit the shell and screws. Power on and check the HDMI 2.1 output.
Hot air station, fine-tip iron, microscope, ESD mat. Master-level skill needed.
Damage from a lifted pad is not covered. Bring the console into the Forest Lake workshop if you want bench help.
