Heat The Adhesive Frame

Use a heat plate at 70C on the chassis perimeter. Soften the adhesive, lift the glass.

Disconnect The Battery First

Always lift the battery FPC before pulling the digitizer flex. Stops short circuits.

Transfer The Camera Bracket

Carefully move the front-camera plastic bracket from your old digitizer.

Test Before Reassembly

Plug the digitizer in, power up and verify multi-touch before fitting adhesive.

Peel The Protective Film Last

Leave the factory film on until the digitizer is seated. Stops dust contamination.

Reuse Or Replace The LCD
