Install Guide — 8 Steps with No Microsoldering Required
Standard iPhone screen swap. No hot-air station. No microscope. No third-party programmer.
Step 1 · Power Off & Pentalobes
Power off the iPhone. Remove the two P2 pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port.
Step 2 · Heat & Open
Soften the perimeter adhesive with a heat pad. Use a suction cup and opening pick.
Step 3 · Disconnect Battery First
Remove the metal cover plates. Disconnect the battery FPC before any other connector.
Step 4 · Disconnect Display
Lift the display flex connectors with a plastic spudger. Set the old screen aside.
Step 5 · Transfer Earpiece & TrueDepth
Move the earpiece speaker and TrueDepth camera flex to the new BQ7 panel.
Step 6 · Test Before Adhesive
Reconnect and power on. Test display, 120Hz scroll, touch, Face ID and Always-On Display.
Step 7 · Run Apple Diagnostics
Open the Self-Service Repair Diagnostic flow on the iPhone. Verify the BQ7 panel.
Step 8 · Adhesive & Close
Apply fresh waterproof adhesive strips. Press the screen home. Refit pentalobe screws.

Will this fit my iPhone 15 Pro Max?+
It fits iPhone 15 Pro Max only. That is the 6.7-inch model with model numbers A2849, A3105, A3106 or A3108. Open Settings, then General, then About to check your model number. Match the code to the FITS list on the page. It will not fit iPhone 15 Pro 6.1-inch or any other iPhone size.
Do I need to transfer the original IC chip?+
No. No microsoldering required. The BQ7 panel ships with diagnosable firmware already onboard. Skip the hot-air station, the microscope and the flux work entirely. Run Apple's built-in Diagnostics on the new screen instead. The panel is verified directly by iOS.
Do I need a JC, JCID or iCopy programmer?+
No third-party programmer needed. No JC V1SE, no JCID V1S Pro and no iCopy Plus. Apple released the Self-Service Repair Diagnostic flow with iOS 17. The diagnostic runs directly on the iPhone itself. The BQ7 panel verifies through that flow only.
How do I clear the Unable to verify display warning?+
Run Apple's built-in Diagnostics from the Self-Service Repair flow on the iPhone itself. Once the diagnostic completes successfully, the warning under Settings, then General, then About, then Parts and Service History typically clears. The BQ7 panel is then recognised as verified by iOS.
Will True Tone work after I install it?+
Yes. Once Apple Diagnostics completes, True Tone stays active in Settings, then Display and Brightness. Auto-brightness continues working as well. Both features typically remain functional across iOS 17 and iOS 18 at time of dispatch.
Does it support full 120Hz ProMotion and Always-On Display?+
Yes. Adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz ProMotion. Smooth scrolling, gaming and video render identically to OEM. The 1Hz floor enables Always-On Display lockscreen. Time, widgets and dimmed wallpaper all function normally.

What does the 12-month warranty cover?+
