Fits iPhone 15 Pro Max 6.7-inch ONLY · Does NOT Fit 15 Pro, 15 Plus, 14 Pro Max or 16 Pro Max

    FITS — iPhone 15 Pro Max 6.7-inch

    • iPhone 15 Pro Max — A2849 — USA eSIM only with 5G mmWave
    • iPhone 15 Pro Max — A3105 — Canada and Japan
    • iPhone 15 Pro Max — A3106 — Australia, UK, Europe, international
    • iPhone 15 Pro Max — A3108 — China Mainland and Hong Kong
    • 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display chassis with Dynamic Island cutout
    • Native ProMotion connector and Always-On Display data lines

DOES NOT FIT (Avoid Wrong Purchase)

    • iPhone 15 Pro 6.1-inch — smaller chassis, different dimensions, different connector layout.
    • iPhone 15 and 15 Plus — no ProMotion, no Always-On Display, different connector pinout.
    • iPhone 14 Pro Max — different bezel cuts, different connector layout, different flex routing.
    • iPhone 16 Pro Max — new chassis dimensions, new connector, new Camera Control cutout.
    • iPhone 13 Pro Max and 13 — older notch design, completely different connector and dimensions.
    • iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 series — older chassis, older connector, no Dynamic Island.
    • Older iPhone X, XS, 11 series — entirely different chassis sizes and connector pinouts.
Confirm your iPhone model before ordering.

Open Settings, then tap General, then About. Look for the Model Number line. The number starts with a capital A. Match it to the FITS list above. The phone must say iPhone 15 Pro Max. Wrong model means the connector and bezel cuts will not fit.

The Diagnosable Difference — Why BQ7 Beats Standard Aftermarket

Standard aftermarket OLEDs need the original IC chip microsoldered across. The BQ7 panel skips that step entirely. Apple verifies the panel directly through Self-Service Repair Diagnostics.

    No IC Chip Transfer

Skip the hot-air rework on the original display IC. No microsoldering bench time needed.

    No Third-Party Programmer

No JC V1SE. No JCID V1S Pro. No iCopy Plus. Apple Diagnostics is the only tool needed.

    Apple Diagnostics Verified

Apple Self-Service Repair flow on iOS 17 marks the panel as verified.

    Unknown Part Warning Clears

After diagnostics the Parts and Service History page shows no warning flag.

    True Tone Preserved

Apple Diagnostics restores the True Tone toggle in Display and Brightness settings.

    Auto-Brightness Works

Ambient light sensor data flows through. Brightness ramps up and down naturally.

    Full 120Hz ProMotion

Adaptive refresh from 1Hz to 120Hz. Smooth scrolling and gaming match OEM behaviour.

    Always-On Display

1Hz lockscreen renders correctly. Time, widgets and dimmed wallpaper all functional.

    Dynamic Island Native

TrueDepth cutout matches OEM dimensions. Live Activities and pill animations render seamlessly.

    Haptic Touch Active

Long-press preview and quick actions respond identically to OEM panels.

    Face ID Works

Transfer the original earpiece and TrueDepth flex. Face ID continues to authenticate normally.

iOS 17 and iOS 18 Compatible

Recognised across iOS 17 and iOS 18 at time of dispatch. Vendor keeps firmware current.

Save 30 to 60 minutes of bench time per job. No JC programmer hire fee.

Soft OLED vs Hard OLED — Why Apple Always Uses Soft

Apple has used Soft OLED in every iPhone OLED since the iPhone X. Hard OLED is aftermarket-only. BQ7 keeps the genuine Soft substrate Apple uses.

BQ7 Grade Honesty Disclosure — Aftermarket Premium Tier

BQ7 is the top-tier diagnosable Soft OLED grade. Honest aftermarket label. Never sold as genuine Apple service-pack stock.

    What BQ7 grade means

BQ7 panels are aftermarket Soft OLED with onboard diagnosable firmware. The IC chip is pre-programmed and Apple-recognised.

    Soft OLED substrate explained

Soft OLED uses a flexible plastic substrate. Same material Apple uses on every OEM iPhone OLED.

    Why BQ7 over XO7 or IQ7

BQ7 ships with the diagnosable firmware. XO7 and IQ7 are older grades that need IC transfer.

    12-month vendor warranty

Vendor confirmed 12-month replacement warranty on manufacturing defects. Excludes drops, water and install error.

    Genuine BQ7 vs counterfeit

Each panel carries the BQ7 bezel grade sticker. We never relabel Hard OLED as BQ7 Soft.

    Honest grade label

BQ7 is aftermarket premium. Never sold as Apple OEM. Never sold as service-pack pull stock.

Install Guide — 8 Steps with No Microsoldering Required

Standard iPhone screen swap. No hot-air station. No microscope. No third-party programmer.

    Step 1 · Power Off & Pentalobes

Power off the iPhone. Remove the two P2 pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port.

    Step 2 · Heat & Open

Soften the perimeter adhesive with a heat pad. Use a suction cup and opening pick.

Step 3 · Disconnect Battery First

Remove the metal cover plates. Disconnect the battery FPC before any other connector.

    Step 4 · Disconnect Display

Lift the display flex connectors with a plastic spudger. Set the old screen aside.

    Step 5 · Transfer Earpiece & TrueDepth

Move the earpiece speaker and TrueDepth camera flex to the new BQ7 panel.

Step 6 · Test Before Adhesive

Reconnect and power on. Test display, 120Hz scroll, touch, Face ID and Always-On Display.

Step 7 · Run Apple Diagnostics

Open the Self-Service Repair Diagnostic flow on the iPhone. Verify the BQ7 panel.

    Step 8 · Adhesive & Close

Apply fresh waterproof adhesive strips. Press the screen home. Refit pentalobe screws.

    Tools Required

P2 pentalobe driver, Y000 tri-point, plastic spudger, suction cup, opening picks, heat pad.

    Bench Time

Around 30 to 45 minutes including Apple Diagnostics. Faster than IC transfer rebuilds.

    Skill Level

Intermediate. Comfortable with FPC connectors and screen swaps. No microsoldering needed.

    Critical Reminder

Always test the OLED before applying adhesive. Re-opening means broken adhesive seal.

Bring the iPhone to the Forest Lake workshop if you want bench help instead.

BQ7 Diagnosable Soft OLED for iPhone 15 Pro Max — Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my iPhone 15 Pro Max?+
It fits iPhone 15 Pro Max only. That is the 6.7-inch model with model numbers A2849, A3105, A3106 or A3108. Open Settings, then General, then About to check your model number. Match the code to the FITS list on the page. It will not fit iPhone 15 Pro 6.1-inch or any other iPhone size.
Do I need to transfer the original IC chip?+
No. No microsoldering required. The BQ7 panel ships with diagnosable firmware already onboard. Skip the hot-air station, the microscope and the flux work entirely. Run Apple's built-in Diagnostics on the new screen instead. The panel is verified directly by iOS.
Do I need a JC, JCID or iCopy programmer?+
No third-party programmer needed. No JC V1SE, no JCID V1S Pro and no iCopy Plus. Apple released the Self-Service Repair Diagnostic flow with iOS 17. The diagnostic runs directly on the iPhone itself. The BQ7 panel verifies through that flow only.
How do I clear the Unable to verify display warning?+
Run Apple's built-in Diagnostics from the Self-Service Repair flow on the iPhone itself. Once the diagnostic completes successfully, the warning under Settings, then General, then About, then Parts and Service History typically clears. The BQ7 panel is then recognised as verified by iOS.
Will True Tone work after I install it?+
Yes. Once Apple Diagnostics completes, True Tone stays active in Settings, then Display and Brightness. Auto-brightness continues working as well. Both features typically remain functional across iOS 17 and iOS 18 at time of dispatch.
Does it support full 120Hz ProMotion and Always-On Display?+
Yes. Adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz ProMotion. Smooth scrolling, gaming and video render identically to OEM. The 1Hz floor enables Always-On Display lockscreen. Time, widgets and dimmed wallpaper all function normally.
Will Dynamic Island and Face ID still work?+
Yes to both. The TrueDepth cutout matches OEM dimensions exactly. Dynamic Island animations and Live Activities render seamlessly. For Face ID, carefully transfer the earpiece speaker and TrueDepth camera flex from your original screen. Face ID hardware stays intact and continues authenticating.
What is the difference between Soft OLED and Hard OLED?+
Soft OLED uses a flexible plastic substrate. That is the same construction Apple uses on every OEM iPhone OLED. Hard OLED is a cheaper rigid-glass alternative. Apple has never used Hard OLED in any iPhone. Soft OLED gives tighter bezels, better drop resistance and around 15 percent better display quality.
What does the 12-month warranty cover?+
Vendor-confirmed 12-month replacement warranty on manufacturing defects. That covers dead pixels, panel failure, touch failure, ProMotion glitches and display driver fault. Excludes physical damage from drops, water and install error. Always test the OLED before applying adhesive. Install faults are not covered by warranty.
How fast does it ship and can I collect from the workshop?+
Standard 2-4 business days from our Forest Lake QLD workshop. We ship tracked Australia Post or courier. Brisbane Metro and Gold Coast addresses often land next day.
