    Plug And Play Install — 6 Steps

    STEP 1 — Power Off And Remove Pentalobes

    Power off. Remove the two P2 pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port.

    STEP 2 — Heat And Open

    Soften the adhesive with a heat pad. Use a suction cup and opening pick from the right side.

    STEP 3 — Disconnect Battery And Display Flex

    Remove the metal cover plates. Disconnect battery first. Then disconnect the three display flex connectors.

    STEP 4 — Transfer Earpiece And Sensors

    Carefully transfer the earpiece speaker, proximity sensor and front camera flex from the original screen.

    STEP 5 — Test Before Sealing

    Reconnect display flex and battery. Power on. Test display, touch, Face ID, True Tone and earpiece. Then reseal.

    STEP 6 — Apply Adhesive And Close

    Apply fresh waterproof adhesive strips. Press the screen home. Refit pentalobe screws. Done.

    Test first. Always verify the screen works before reapplying adhesive. Discovering a fault after sealing means re-opening the phone.
